Rehevia
Practice difficult conversations before saying them for real.
Rehevia is a conversation simulator for new managers. You speak the conversation out loud to a counterpart who does not simply agree with you.
Afterwards you go back to the moment it turned, and take it again from there.
Coming to the App Store.
You already know what to say. Saying it is the hard part.
The missed deadline. The pay conversation. Pushing back on a peer who outranks you in everything except the org chart. You have rehearsed it in your head, and in your head it goes well, because in your head the other person agrees with you.
Rehevia is the version where they do not. You say it out loud, with your voice, to someone who has their own account of what happened and no intention of dropping it.
How it works
One practice, start to finish.
It takes about as long as the real conversation will.
-
Prepare
Name the conversation you have to have and who you are having it with. A few sentences is enough.
-
The conversation
You speak. They answer. Out loud, in real time, in the room with you.
-
See the moments that mattered
The points where the conversation changed direction, each one quoted from what was actually said.
-
Rewind one
Go back to one of those moments. The conversation returns to the state it was genuinely in at that point, and you carry on from there.
-
Compare both takes
The two paths out of the same moment, side by side. Not better and worse — different, and yours to judge.
-
Debrief
What you did and what it did to the conversation, tied to your own words.
-
Afterwards
If you want, schedule the real conversation and write down how it actually went.
Inside the room
The counterpart is not on your side.
It has an account of what happened and it will hold on to it. This is the part most practice gets wrong.
You
Thanks for making time. I wanted to talk about the report — it came in four days late.
Counterpart
It came in late because the brief changed twice. You were on the thread.
You
I know. I am sorry, I should have stepped in earlier.
Counterpart
Right. So we agree it was not mine.
The conversation just moved away from you.
Apologising is not a move. Nothing changes until you say what you now expect — the simulation is built that way on purpose.
Rewind
Go back to the moment, not to a nicer version of it.
Every practice has a point where it turned. Rewind puts you back at that point with the conversation in the state it was actually in — the same history, the same mood, the same thing just said to you.
What happens next is up to you again.
What is actually different
Four things worth knowing.
Everything else on this page is decoration. These are the parts that change the practice.
-
The counterpart actually pushes back.
It is not agreeable. It has its own version of events and it defends it. Saying sorry without setting an expectation changes nothing, because the simulation is built so that it does not.
-
Rewind is real, not a rewrite.
Returning to a moment restores the actual state of the conversation at that point and lets you take a different path from there. It is not the AI producing a tidier transcript of what happened.
-
Every observation is tied to something you said.
The debrief quotes real moments from your own conversation. It cannot invent feedback, because it has nothing to invent it from.
-
There is no score.
A conversation is not a grade. Rehevia deliberately gives you no overall number, no rating, no percentage and no streak. You read what happened and you decide what it means.
What Rehevia is not.
Being clear about this is easier than being vague about it.
- Not a chatbot you type at.
- Not an advice feed, a course, or a library of articles about management.
- Not interview coaching, sales roleplay, or presentation practice.
- Not therapy, and not a substitute for it.
It does one thing: it lets you have the conversation once before you have to have it for real.
Privacy
What you say here does not follow you around.
The whole point of this app is that you can say the wrong thing safely. That only works if the wrong thing does not end up somewhere you cannot reach.
Your voice never reaches us.
Audio goes directly from your device to the AI provider over a peer connection. The app never receives it and never stores it. There is no recording to export or delete, because none is kept.
Transcripts are yours.
The written turns are stored, because the evidence and rewind features need them. You can delete a single practice, your whole practice history, or your entire account, from inside the app.
Nothing you say reaches analytics.
Not transcripts, not names, not employers, not scenario text, not reflections. This is enforced by a deny-list in the code, not by a promise on a page.
A hard conversation is easier the second time you have it.
Rehevia lets the second time come first.
